World’s biggest solution! The weight was 30 thousand kg, remained helpful to the farmers for years, now imprisoned in the boundary wall

You must have seen a solution made of stars in the sky. This group of stars is called Saptarishi Mandal. Here we are not going to tell you about the huge solution seen in the sky, but about the huge solution present on the earth. This was the world’s largest plow which existed years ago. Its weight was up to 30 thousand kg, but now this unique thing has been imprisoned in the boundary wall of the museum.

According to the report of Audity Central News website, this plow is called Ottomeyer Mammut, Plough. Its work was used to make the swamp fertile land for farming. You will be surprised to know that this plow used to dig a pit up to 2 meters through which the field was plowed. The Emsland district of northern Germany had become a marshy area and had been considered uninhabitable since the 1700s. But at the beginning of the 20th century, the government of West Germany decided that the area was lagging behind in terms of progress compared to other areas of the country. Then a campaign was launched to make it fertile.

The construction was done to make the land fertile
Farmers had left the land vacant for hundreds of years, but Otto Meyer, a German engineer, accepted the challenge and started making the land fertile. He was known for making steam tractors. To plow such a large area, his team worked day and night to make a huge plough. Four powerful steam traction engines were installed in this plow so that the biggest plow in human history could be pulled.

This was the specialty of the solution
As we told earlier also that its weight was 30 tonnes i.e. 30 thousand kg. Its big wheels were 4 meters in diameter and the huge blades could dig a hole up to 2 meters in the ground. It was so heavy that no tractor could pull it. That’s why a charkha-like machine was installed in which 4 traction engines were installed. This engine was installed on two sides of the ground, which used to pull the plow through metal ropes. Twelve such plows were built in the 1950s. In 12 years, 17 thousand hectares of land was plowed with this plow and it was converted from swamp to fertile. The plow was operated for 12 hours, 6 days a week. The land was plowed from the end of March or the beginning of April till October. In today’s time, this place has become one of the most fertile places in the world. In the 1970s, when the work of this machine was completed and the land was plowed, then it was closed and decorated in the museum.
